The Apostolic Center for Training in the Supernatural (ACTS) is dedicated to equipping the Body of Christ for impactful ministry work. Grounded in Ephesians 4:11-13, ACTS focuses on perfecting/maturing the saints and preparing them for the work of the ministry.
Maturing the Saints
Our main focus is for the Body of Christ to be “matured” for the work of the ministry.
Ephesians 4:12 For the perfecting (maturing) of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for edifying the body of Christ.
This cannot be just in head knowledge, but also a maturing in our spirits which causes us to function/act like the disciples did in Acts and even more importantly like Jesus. (John 14:12)
Purpose
One of the Church’s main weaknesses is the lack of training, equipping, and sending of believers and saints into the world to do the work of the ministry. This includes salvation, being filled with the Holy Spirit, deliverance, healing, miracles, signs and wonders. Perhaps a simple description for this would be DISCIPLESHIP!
Discipleship
Matthew 28:18-20 First, Jesus commands us to GO. Secondly, to TEACH (to disciple). Thirdly, to BAPTIZE. Fourthly, teaching them to observe or follow the commandments of Jesus… to disciple them.
In the Great Commission, Jesus is commanding us to make disciples. This goes beyond just getting people saved, but also watching over them to assure they are being discipled into mature Christians.
By whom? Ephesians 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
For what purpose? Ephesians 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
For how long? Ephesians 4:13: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:
Why? Ephesians 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine… 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
How Will ACTS Accomplish this Vision?
Teaching, Training, and Equipping
- Teaching the Word of God, the Full Gospel, the Kingdom of Jesus Christ
- Training with hands-on activation and mentoring
- Equipping by activation of the Holy Spirit’s gifting and anointing with power
- For a greater release of the Holy Spirit’s power and glory for each Student
Mode of Operation
- This is a KEY: Our goal is to have a variety of anointed, Spirit-filled guest speakers to teach/train/equip YOU in their God-given calling!!
- Live-stream courses for participation globally
- Library of teachings, meetings, variety of subjects and material accessible by students
- Website filled with training manuals on relevant subjects
- Communication with partners, volunteers, and visitors
- Testimonies of students; people who have been saved, healed, and delivered
- Travel globally, everywhere the Holy Spirit leads our team
How Can YOU Become Involved?
As an Intercessor
This is foundational! This is not just someone who prays, which is vital, but also one who intercedes in the Spirit: a warrior and perhaps a “seer”-one who sees things to come in the Spirit (John 16:13)
That would also be touching on some of the giftings of a Seer or a New Testament Prophet. These are giftings available for all Believers, right? So let’s put on our whole armor of God and use our supernatural weapons of our warfare to keep the enemy under our feet! (Eph 6:10-20; 2 Cor 10:4; Rom 16:20) (More info on the Intercessors Page)
As a Student
Take the classes, study to show yourself approved by God. (2 Timothy 2:15)
This is just the first step to be involved with ACTS. Obviously, discipleship involves discipline. You will need to prioritize your time not only to attend the classes but daily developing an intimate relationship with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
As a son or daughter (Rom 8:14), you must be led by the Holy Spirit which requires you to know His voice, His presence, His gentle nudges and strong directions… and then be obedient to Him.
Get Involved
- Assist with our Media Team: camera crew, recording testimonials
- Assist with our website, communication with partners, members, public, general maintenance-updates/revisions etc., upload/download videos and materials
- Assist with our Ministry Team: Local, domestic, and globally
- Support our Ministry: Romans 12 tells us of the marks of a True Christian: Love one another, wise businessman/woman, fervent in the Spirit, serving the Lord, instant in prayer, a giver to the needs of the saints, being hospitable, a gatherer
THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING!
As ACTS evolves, we expect to see many changes as He refines us according to His desires. Some aspects will be added, revised or at least different than before. Get used to different!!
